Land governance: Cameroon, Chad and car seek the parade in Douala

Three days of work under the aegis of FAO and CEIDES to respond to the urgency of conflicts related to transboundary transhumance. Experts, administrations and technical partners from Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic have been meeting since 21 September 2026 for a three-day workshop on land reforms. The objective is clear: to reduce the recurring tensions linked to cross-border transhumance, which regularly pits farmers and breeders in the area. A phenomenon exacerbated by climate change and demographic pressure.
